Kacy Cooney lives in Virginia with her husband, daughter, dog, and the snail that has outlived five fish.  She has had a varied career as a banker, an accountant, and most recently a childcare provider, which made it possible for her only child to have “borrowed siblings.”  Kacy also works with kids by volunteering with the youth at her church and tutoring at a local high school.
